The pitch is simple and brutal: the woodland is rich with treasure and allies, but every Blood Moon throws monsters at your camp. This getting-started guide covers the first sessions—what to do in hour one, what to ignore, and how to connect camp building to the boss board without getting greedy.

The core loop in one minute

1. Gather wood, food, and salvage while the forest is calm.
2. Build a camp that can absorb a raid instead of a decorative lean-to.
3. Expand map knowledge—caves, edges, and boss dens—without overextending.
4. Survive Blood Moon waves that punish weak walls and scattered teammates.
5. Hunt the boss board for signature rewards (pet/mount path, lightning hands, super speed, magic staff, and high-diff prizes).

Everything else—codes, cosmetics, side curios—is optional seasoning. Master the loop first.

Surviving 67 Days in Roblox Monster Forest

First 15 minutes checklist

• Learn camera, sprint, attack, interact, and inventory from Controls.
• Claim a sensible camp foothold with clear sightlines; avoid building in a dead-end choke you cannot escape.
• Gather a starter stockpile before sightseeing. Hungry explorers die in caves they were not ready to loot.
• Note the Blood Moon or invasion timer if the UI shows one. Treat it like a hard calendar, not flavor text.
• Locate the task / wanted / boss notice board early so you know what Oblivion’s Eye and later targets represent.

If you finish that list, you are already ahead of players who sprint straight at the first glowing cave.

Camp before glory

A common beginner failure is decorating before fortifying. Pretty camps still burn. Prioritize functional walls, repair materials, and a re-gear chest you can reach after a messy night.

Gathering without feeding the forest

Loot routes should be circular: leave camp, hit two or three known nodes, return before the timer turns cruel. Find Gear expands this into mid-game routing. Early on, value food and repair mats as highly as shiny weapons. A magic staff fantasy does not help if you starve on the walk back.

Watch for audio and visual tells—eyes that follow, dense fog pockets, or cave pressure. The forest is allowed to hunt you. Retreat is a skill.

Blood Moon: your first real exam

Blood Moon raids are the identity beat of Survived 67 Days. Before your first one:

• Stock food and ammo-equivalent resources
• Repair what you can
• Assign co-op roles if you have friends (gate holders vs. runners)
• Clear junk from doorways so you can kite

Boss board without getting lost

The notice board lists hunt targets. Community runs and verified videos highlight a practical cast:

• Oblivion’s Eye — early board focus; reward fantasy leans pet/mount companion
• Sad Ghost — lightning hands style payoff
• Crowman — super speed style payoff
• Demon King — magic staff style payoff
• Snake / high-difficulty bosses — sharper checks and specialty gear

You can stumble into bosses out of order while exploring. That is fine for learning patterns, but intentional clears go smoother when camp and gear are ready. Use Beat Bosses before you dedicate a night to the board.

Co-op etiquette that prevents rages

Online sessions can include many players. Communicate simply: “repairing south,” “pulling eye,” “don’t open the cave yet.” Ping threats. Do not drag a patrol into someone else’s unfinished wall. If voice chat is unavailable, short text still beats silent chaos.

Solo? Play tighter radii and earlier retreats. The guides still apply; only your margin for error shrinks.

• Upgrade a defense layer
• Map one new safe route
• Clear one board boss you prepared for
• Stabilize after a wipe without rage-quitting
